Day 3 was another day filled with hard work and sweat. We finished up all of our job sites and then all of our campers got to go to different firehouses in the area and help clean fire trucks. After finishing all the jobs early a lot of the camp enjoyed some time on the front yard of the church playing football throwing a frisbee and spending some time in fellowship with one another. Our evening activity was playing life size battle ship! Even the adults played 2 games against the youth, but with little success. We were blessed to have Rev. Morris Mathis, district superintendent of the Central North district, come preach and serve us communion. His message told us that we had people back at home who invested in us so that we might be in a position to attend a trip like big house. These parents, teachers, Sunday school teachers, youth directors and pastors all invested in us that we might realize that God has plans for our lives. After worship we reminisced over the camp with our camp slide show and recognized all the adults that made the camp possible.
Day 4 was an extra early morning. We got up and quickly transformed the church back to the way we found it. Had enough time to sit down for a quick breakfast before heading over to attend worship with our host church. All that was left was a few quick goodbyes and to pile into our vehicles and head home.
